New Town Hall Meeting August 25th, 2020 @ 1930
Due to popular demand by our members, ATU 569 is hosting a second Online Telephone Town Hall meeting on August 25th, 2020 @ 1930. You will receive 2 phone calls.
An advance phone call will be made to all members about 1900 on August 24, a day ahead of the actual meeting. This call will provide phone-in information you will need only if you have to call in from a phone number different from the one we have on file. It will be a 1-800 number, NOT the Union hall phone number.
On August 25th @ approximately 1930 you will receive the actual Town Hall meeting call inviting you to join the meeting. To attend, you just stay on the line and you’ll automatically be linked in.
Hundreds of members attended our first Telephone Town Hall meeting. As previously, we’ll start with an update of what’s been happening since the last meeting. Then, we’ll answer as many questions as we can in the 1 hour meeting. Even if you don’t have any questions you are welcome to join in to listen and to answer the poll questions that will occur throughout the meeting.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, as there is no perfect time for a workforce that works 24/7, we recommend sending your questions to us by email in advance so we can address them online. Please send your questions in advance if you can’t attend to email@example.com
Any questions not able to be answered due to time restrictions will be answered after the program and sent back to the member. We are working on posting the entirety of the meeting on our webpage for those that could not attend, to be listened to after the meeting is over.
For the future, we are hoping to do more regular Online call-in Q&A’s using Facebook Live and Youtube. This will make the Union more accessible to members who are unable to attend regular meetings.
